is a very original, astonishingly big sound from
one woman with a bagful of tricks, talent and attitude.

to be delighted, intrigued, amused & challenged!The wonderfully talented Heather Summers draws on her
classical, folk contemporary and world music background,
to create dynamic, exciting material ranging from original rap
style numbers, to her own arrangements of driving world folk
tunes and original instrumental compositions. But
this is not just a one-woman show;
it's also a one-woman band. With
the use of a clever bit of technology, before your eyes and
ears, she layers up whole sound-scopes using a variety of instruments
- eclectic Cajon grooves, soaring violin or fiery fiddle, with
quirky harmonic flute & percussion that includes alarm clock,
hand claps and mouth sounds. And that's before she even opens
her mouth. There is never a dull moment, & you may well

Woods (Oxford, UK) and Lara Linette (El
Paso, Texas) performed together when they
both lived in Austin, Texas during the 90s,
and got together again for reunion gig
there last summer. Both singer-songwriters,
their acoustic-folk-country styles complement
each other perfectly. They sprinkle a number
of well-known cover songs throughout
their act incl. Mandy’s own ‘dyke’ version
of ‘Jolene’!
TUESDAY NIGHT IS CABARET
NIGHT !
And this year
of course we will have our wonderful Cabaret nights.
It's a chance for everyone to get involved either on
stage or sit back and enjoy. Last season we had a brilliant
time with many women getting up on stage and having
fun. We had everything from traditional singers, rappers,
shakes ere, drag, dance, poetry - the daft to the truly
amazing.
The great thing about cabaret night is that all are
welcome on the stage. Last season also saw some very
talented women help out at cabaret night = the very
funny Huffty, lovely Scottish Annie, 'mad Mitch,
Hilli's gang and of course Dolly Savage. Dolly is going to be
at the garden again this year so pack your wigs and
costumes and be part of Cabaret 2008

NIGHT
IS "Diner and Dance" NIGHT !
Every
Sunday from end of may till September we will provide
you with delicious buffet for just 7 Euros
and you can eat as much you want.
But on top of this we will have international D Jane's
which serve you with the best music to dance your dinner
